1 - Age Restriction: 16+
∙ (1) All members must be 16 years or older upon joining the server.
∙ (1) If you lie about your age you will be perma-banned.
2 - User Accounts
∙ (2.1) Do not share your account with anybody!
∙ (2.1) Ensure that your password and device are secure so others can not access your account
∙ (2.2) Each member is permitted ONE forum account.
∙ (2.2) If you are found to have more than one account, all associated accounts will be banned.
∙ (2.3) You are responsible for your account and all content that is posted by you.
∙ (2.3) These rules both apply to plural systems as well.
3 - General Conduct
∙ (3.1) No discrimination or prejudice of any kind.
∙ (3.2) Any form of harassment is not tolerated.
∙ (3.3) Threats in any form are not tolerated.
∙ (3.4) Disturbing the peace is not tolerated.
∙ (3.5) No public blacklists or DNIs.
4 - Inappropriate Language
∙ (4.1) Excessive cursing is frowned upon.
∙ (4.2) Absolutely no derogatory slurs.
∙ (4.3) No hate speech or offensive language of any kind.
5 - Respect the Boundaries of Others
∙ (5.1) Respect each other's pronouns and identities.
∙ (5.2) Censor sensitive topics with spoilers.

This way, a person who may have had a personal experience with abuse can avoid reading content that may cause their painful memories to resurface, therefore avoiding emotional harm.
∙ (5.4) No unsolicited PMs or advice/critiques.
∙ (5.5) Pay attention to your tone and the impact of your words.
∙ (5.5) Consider the use of tone tags in out-of-character (OOC) interactions.

6 - Constructive VS Destructive Criticism
∙ (6) Constructive criticism is welcome and encouraged to help Wingbeats and its members grow.
∙ (6) Please note, however: we do not tolerate destructive criticism.
∙ (6) Feedback is encouraged to point out flaws, mistakes, and potential areas for improvement for growth.
∙ (6) Constructive criticism is criticism provided with the intent to help.
∙ (6) Destructive criticism is derogatory, hurtful, bashing, mocks failures and undermines successes.
7 - Posting Guidelines
∙ (7.1) Make relevant and meaningful contributions.
∙ (7.2.) Prioritize quality over quantity of posts.
∙ (7.3.1) Do your best to post in the correct forums.
∙ (7.3.1) Use each forum for its intended purpose.
∙ (7.3.2) Avoid posting off-topic content in threads.
∙ (7.3.3) Avoid excessive or repetitive characters in replies.
∙ (7.3.4) Do not post multiple replies in a row.
∙ (7.4) Choose clear wording for thread titles.
∙ (7.5) "Bump" literally stands for “Bring Up My Post”.
∙ (7.5) Avoid "bumping" in-character (IC) topics.
∙ (7.5) Only bump out-of-character (OOC) topics if they get pushed back a page.
∙ (7.5) If your topic is pushed back a page, only bump every 72 hours (3 days).
8 - Trolling & Raiding
∙ (8) Absolutely no trolling or raiding of the forum or server.
∙ (8) No conspiracy to troll or raid the forum or server.
∙ (8) No conspiracy to troll or raid another site.
9 - Privacy and Safety
∙ (9.1) Respect the privacy of others.
∙ (9.1) No sharing personal or private information.
∙ (9.1) Do not share identifying personal information.

10 - Content Policies
∙ (10.1) Proper citation and credit attribution are mandatory
∙ (10.2) Only post original content you created or have explicit permission to use.
∙ (10.3) Respect intellectual property rights and give credit where it is due.
∙ (10.4) Profile content should abide by all other rules.
∙ (10.4) Absolutely no NSFW profile content.
11 - NSFW (Not Safe For Work) Content
∙ (11.1) No linking to or uploading NSFW content.
∙ (11.1) (including websites, images, galleries, or videos)
∙ (11.2) Do not PM NSFW material to members of the forum or server.
∙ (11.3) No graphic mating scenes or references to mating. No NSFW roleplay.
∙ (11.4) Blood and gore should be politely spoilered with a trigger warning.
∙ (11.5) Absolutely no zoophilic content or sexualization of animals in any way.
12 - Use of AI on Wingbeats
∙ (12.1) Chat GPT can be used as a tool to help generate ideas, describe scenes, or enhance storytelling.
∙ (12.1) Chat GPT should not replace the creative input of individual members.
∙ (12.1) The majority of the post's content should be original work.
∙ (12.1) Chat GPT content must be paraphrased and integrated into original, personalized content.
∙ (12.1) No direct copying and pasting of ChatGPT responses.
∙ (12.1) Members are encouraged to disclose their use of Chat GPT in each post.
∙ (12.1) Moderators reserve the right to assess Chat GPT content on a case-by-case basis.
∙ (12.2) Absolutely no use of AI generated images or "artwork."
13 - Advertising and Promotions
∙ (13.1) Avoid unsolicited self-promotion.
∙ (13.1) Do not advertise or solicit in PMs to other members.
∙ (13.1) Advertise appropriately in the designated forum.
∙ (13.2) Wingbeats offers affiliate applications for those interested.
∙ (13.3) No financial solicitation, requesting handouts or panhandling.
14 - Updates and Announcements
∙ (14.1) Admins will be sure to share important announcements, updates, and community news.
∙ (14.2) Feel free to share your constructive feedback to help Wingbeats improve!
∙ (14.3) These rules and guidelines may undergo periodic updates.
